Panel Discussions and Student Pitches
The Skylon Campus was a hive of activity for the "Community of Interest" hosted by NMITE's Peter Broks. Featuring representatives from allpay Limited, Arcanum Cyber Security, Wye Valley NHS Trust, and many others, the panel provided a glimpse into the world of security and technology. This was followed by an interactive session where students pitched their solutions to the challenges posed at the beginning of the week. The opportunity for our students to speak directly to industry experts was invaluable, the guests were impressed and took their time evaluating their ideas and offering professional feedback.
The Student Showcase: More Than Just Engineering
NMITE students truly shone during the showcase segment. Not only did they present their security solutions, integrating technology and digital strategies, but they also demonstrated their marketing capabilities. From branded business cards to custom cookies made with 3D-printed moulds bearing their team logos, the students went all out to attract and impress their expert audience. Their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit were a testament to their employability and the NMITE approach to education!
