Using NMITE's distinctive model of education, you'll be immersed in project-based learning, with extensive industry and community engagement, including a work placement.  

We are committed to sustainable development. It's a topic of global importance, and critical to current and future generations - we know it's important to you. 

The option of a Foundation Year is available for those who do not meet the entry requirements for this technical degree but who are passionate about becoming a future built environment professional.

Only the BSc (Hons) Sustainable Built Environment with Foundation Year option is available for those applying to start their studies in 2024. Both the Foundation Year and non-Foundation Year options are available for those starting their studies in 2025.

Modules

Below you'll find a list of compulsory modules for this course, each including project work with employers. There are no optional modules available. The course is taught one module (30 credits) at a time, with each module taught in an 8-week block. An academic year comprises four modules studied in eight weeks, totalling 32 taught weeks.
